Revampavan Ltd is a family run Camper converter, based in Dorset
Revampavan began in 2008, inspired by nearly a decade of Campervanning in Devon and Cornwall with our young family, where the idea came to start a Conversion company that had more of a personal approach to creating practical, custom conversions for people like us. Unlike traditional camper manufacturers, we work directly with you to transform your own van into a fully customised camper, revamping your lifestyle and enhancing your travel experiences.

History…
Andy spent 25 years as a panel beater after leaving school, until he was made redundant in 2008. With every cloud having a silver lining, he took his redundancy as an opportunity and set up a business for himself. Having bought/converted a T25 which was used for family holidays, he already had some VW experience and wanted to see where he could take his knowledge.
“I bought a LWB T5 and converted it and then sold it on for a profit, so then I realised they I could do Ok out of it,”
That was mainly built on his drive at home, although his ex-boss did allow him workshop access, which came in very handy, especially for fitting the pop top.
Andy then continued working on his drive, fitting windows and carpetlining etc until 2011 when he decided it was time to go large or go home, so he sold his camper to raise cash and Revampavan was born. It grew over the years in various locations, before ending up in the current unit about 2 years ago, where it’s now a fully-formed camper conversion company.
Our Workshop…
Revampavan are based in Christchurch and have a large workshop on-site where all Campervan conversions take place.
The workshop includes a large CNC machine that enables much of the bespoke building that the Revampavan team do for all van conversions as well as 3D printers that allow for more intricate pieces.
R&R Beds…
When it comes to R&R beds he usually fits RIBs, into T5/T6’s and sometimes in Crafters to Caddys, via his contacts at Banwy, and he will normally plant an Austops roof on the top.
“We have worked with Austops since around 2010, when they were just starting up, and they have always been the best option for us; we must fit about 100 of their pop tops a year.”
