Additional space makes all the difference in your camper conversion. You can elevate the roof when you are stationary and need to move around the van and have a roof with our without a bed. The beds are all on gas struts and push up to still create height room.
Having that extra space will be a game-changer, especially if you are planning to camp a lot.
Austop – Pop Top Roofs
Our top seller and standard roof we use on our full conversions on VW, Vauxhall Vivaro and Ford Transit Custom vans. As these roofs are manufactured in the UK Austop can offer their roof at a lower price as shipping isn’t an issue. Austop offer 20 canvas colour options and only metallic colour coding as standard. For a small cost, the scenic/panoramic roof option is available allowing for extra ventilation in any hot country, or the chance to sit on the bed and look out to wonderful vistas.
The bellows are made from marine fabric which fairs well in rainy conditions with two zipped mesh vents either side and a clear zipped window at the front. A highly recommended and well-engineered poptop roof at a great price.
Reimo – Pop Top Roofs
Manufactured in Germany, Reimo Pop top roofs come with with sleeping space, fixed high roof shells and vertical elevating roofs aswell as either front or rear elevating options – Reimo has 40 years of experience as manufacturer with campervan pop top roofs.
We fit Reimo roofs to VW, Mercedes Vito, Ford Transit Custom, Renault Trafic and Fiat Ducato vans. Their bellows are also made from Marine Canvas with the same configuration as the Austop and can offer a scenic option, but only come in the one colour grey canvas.
SCA – Pop Top Roofs
Widely considered a premium scissor hinged roof, the SCA comes in Start, Comfort and High Options.
The Start roof has a locking strap system, the Comfort has a rotary tumbler lock system and the High has a 2 Southco Locks with safety straps.
The SCA Comfort and SC High have a folding mechanism which pulls the tent fabric in wards whereas the Start doesn’t. Therea re a lot of options for the SCA making it our premium budget roof.
